Tank Size: Minimum 90 gallons (120+ ideal) for 4–6 fish.
Substrate: Fine sand; avoid large gravel.
Décor: Bogwood, rocks, floating plants; open swimming space.
Water Parameters: 76–82°F, pH 5.5–7.5, 1–5 dGH, ammonia/nitrite 0 ppm, nitrates <30 mg/L.
Filtration: Strong (10–20x tank volume), avoid strong currents.
Diet: Sinking pellets, frozen foods (bloodworms, brine shrimp), occasional vegetables; feed 1–2x daily.
Temperament: Peaceful; keep in groups of 4–6. Compatible with non-aggressive fish (tetras, Corydoras).

Notes: Easy to moderate care. Rare in trade
